Collaborated with graphic designers and engineers to create my senior capstone project titled ‘Loffee’. A local coffee shop finder designed for the everyday coffee drinker. I utilized software such as Adobe XD and Adobe Illustrator to create the brand’s entire image including the logo, app design, and color scheme. Additionally, I researched marketing and business principles and concluded cost analysis of implementing my app in the real world. Lastly, I presented my work at an IFocus quarterly meeting. I co-founded the Eye of An Immigrant (EOAI) my junior year of high school. It serves as a platform for immigrant families to share their experiences on and for resource assistance. After incorporating with 501 (c)(3) certification, and establishing a Board of Directors, we strive to provide immigrant families with legal and financial assistance across the United States. As a social change intern, I was challenged to isolate an issue I saw in my community, design, and implement a solution to this concern. I established the Eye of an Immigrant social campaign with a peer by utilizing Startland's vast network and working alongside experienced mentors. The campaign was dedicated to uplifting the immigrant voices in KC. At Startland, I got to experience the importance of hands-on learning and thrived in a hybrid setting. At the end of our cohort, we pitched our idea on Zoom and in the 2021 Entrprenierual KC Competition. Show less
