As a Marketing Assistant my role was extremely varied and everyday was different. A large part of my role was being an administrator for Marketing, this included stock keeping, sourcing and ordering of all printed literature, exhibition items and promotional items for both AESSEAL and AVT Reliability. Within the admin side of my role I also raised orders from customers using Sage Line 500 software.I was also the administrator for all customer training at AESSEAL. When I took over the Spiel it was being produced in Microsoft Publisher however I dramatically improved the Spiel to look more like a magazine as it is now produced in InDesign. This allowed me to improve my knowledge of InDesign along with other Adobe software's.An important daily task which I completed was processing all enquiries through the website and passing them onto the relevant branch around the globe. This task required me to filter through emails received for both AESSEAL and AVT Reliability and make sure they are passed onto the correct person in the quickest possible time. There were many other aspects to my job which included using software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Trados and Microsoft Office. I also attended events promoting STEM subjects to students such as Teen Tech, Get Up To Speed With Engineering and Big Bang. Show less
