Despite being with us for a relatively short period of time, jasmines displayed a level of dedication, hard work, and drive that truly impressed me. She accomplished a great deal, quickly learning the complex tools she sold and demonstrated a good understanding of them, which was evident in the way she assisted new and potential customers. Jasmine was also instrumental in organising and streamlining processes, which led to increased efficiency and productivity. Overall, Jasmine is an asset to any team and I highly recommend her for any future opportunities she may pursue.

Jasmine only worked in the sales team for a short time unfortunately, but she had a huge impact on both the numbers and her colleagues. She is a highly conscientious team player, who has endless energy, an eye for detail and happy to get stuck in to any challenge. She helped contribute to our best month of sales for HSE subscriptions by building relationships with customers, helping them sell the products internally and even chasing payments.

      • My initial passion for care work stemmed from the idea that I could make a difference to people’s lives. • As a strong team player, the prospect of joining a team of like-minded individuals was an attractive one. • I provided care to support primarily the elderly who were medically classed as end-of-life patients. I took lead with assisting in daily living, including recreational activities, cooking, cleaning, administering medication, accessing health care and personal care or simply for social interactions to prevent loneliness. • As I was caring for an increased number of end-of-life patients, I often had a larger quantity of medication to make available or to administer. Hence, I communicated with my colleagues to ensure there was the correct intervals between doses and I was very thorough with attention to details on their MAR charts, ensuring all information was correct before administering. • There was a heavy focus on time keeping and I had the autonomy to manage my own weekly diary, but also provide cover for colleagues too. In a day the visits would be around 30-45 minutes for c10-12 clients. Show less

      • Similar to my current role, the basis of this role was the same. I often travelled to c15 clients throughout the day. However, no day was the same, I provided care for a vast range of calls lasting up to 9 hours. • This consisted of clients with Autism, Bipolar, Dementia and Schizophrenia to list a few. Due to working alone on the majority of these calls, it instilled my independence and allowed me to focus on enhancing my communication skills to provide the person-centred care that all clients deserve. • The care for clients varied from minimal to intensive and required a lot of resilience, adaptability and communication. I was and am very empathetic towards my clients and ensure that they feel valued and respected, all whilst maintaining consistent professionalism. Show less

      • As a member of the bar team, I was responsible for taking orders, preparing and serving orders. • It was imperative to have clear concise communication skills and to be ‘on the ball’ due to the very fast paced environment. Tasks ranged from taking lead on the bar ensuring everyone was working efficiently, handling cash and processing card transactions to cleaning and organising inventory. • Work hours were distributed to include both day and night shifts, sometimes a mix of both. • I would continuously meet and exceed sales targets at every event. My greatest achievement working here was breaking the internal all-time record for sales value making in excess of £7,000 in revenue. Show less

      • I was responsible for both making drinks and taking drinks orders, also promptly delivering them to customers in bars that were accustomed to table service on the resort. • I assisted management with the schedule planning and took charge of various duties in their absence. There were several bars on site and my shifts were spread out over each due to my efficiency and knowledge of how to ensure day to day tasks were completed. I was great at being a host and regularly received commendation and positive feedback from holiday makers both verbally and by way of tips. Show less

      • After a year as a waitress, I was appointed manager. I was responsible for ensuring that day to day ran efficiently for customer satisfaction. This involved training new staff members, handling customer complaints immediately with discretion, scheduling rotas and ensuring that the data concerning all of my colleague’s hours was available, so correct funds could be released to employees based on hours worked. • During the pandemic, I enhanced my skills to professionally train and strategize my team, utilising their various strengths. Seating areas were regulated with correct distance and space to maximise business. This also involved regulating the duties of other members of staff and making sure the rotas balanced my colleague's availabilities and coincided with the peak and weak patterns in customer attendance. • I implemented training for all new employees to learn to develop and spread awareness for the Facebook page I created. This enabled us to increase our customer base by 25%. Alongside this, printing business cards to give to customers who became part of the overflow we could not seat, enabled them to perhaps come back later in the day or call us and reserve a table, this provided a continuous flow of customers. • Voluntary Live in Carer
      • Mar 2020 - Jun 2020

      • During lockdown I volunteered as a live-in carer for a middle-aged woman who suffers from ME. Initially she was bed bound, suffering from continuous fever and chronic pain alongside varying levels of depression. My first step was to introduce her to a new diet that allowed her to both cook for herself and provide her body with natural sources of nutrients to fuel her recovery. We identified foods that caused discomfort and significantly reduced the quantities she consumed or replaced them entirely with organic alternatives that allowed her to discover a healthy appetite again. • We then made it routine to trial exercise, to start with she would come on her mobility scooter for a walk of around 2-3 miles before gradually training her body to cycle at least half of the journey. This allowed her to push through the boundaries ME had placed on her body for the past 6 years. • Her mindset started to change as I helped her challenge the negative thought processes that were pinning her into a depression. I explained to her that she should verbalise only positive feelings and behaviours even if she didn’t deem them true. Over time she noticed that this made a significant impact on daily tasks such as getting out of bed and making breakfast or her weekly driving lessons that previously had been causing her anxiety. However, after verbally telling herself how positive she felt and would behave, she managed to battle the anxiety and managed to pass her test after two years of failed attempts. • She is now able to support herself in her own progress moving forward with often visits from me to support her emotionally. She now studies online, learning sign language and psychology and has been rewarded with certificates in both areas. She is also gradually starting to build up relationships with friends and family and increase her social capacity allowing her to feel as if she has control of her own life again. Show less
