      I currently teach an accelerated fourth grade class. My class is composed of gifted and highly intelligent students, and as such, I currently teach fifth grade standards in ELA and Math. In this role I create and enact detailed lesson plans that ensure alignment between Florida state standards and my instruction I am also the grade level leader; this is my second year in this position. As the grade level leader, I act as a liaison between teachers on my team and the school administrative team. I also coordinate field trips and plan other grade level events.
