  Tracy, CA As a graduate student extern in a medical setting, I conducted in-patient as well as out-patient assessment and treatment of various speech and language disorders including; dysphagia, Traumatic Brain Injury, cognition, and autism. A variety of age groups were included in my caseload from pediatric to geriatric populations. My professional experience also included working with various professionals including; nurses, doctors, and various hospital staff.

  Elk Grove, CA As an intern in an elementary setting, I assessed and treated preschool-sixth grade students with various speech and language needs including fluency, expressive/receptive language, speech sound disorders and voice(65+ caseload). I also conducted and presented IEP meetings along with IEP team members. During my internship I also utilized a “push-in” model of therapy for a special day classroom of 3rd-4th graders while focusing on sentence production and writing.
