Mental Health Clinican for new supporting minds programs funded by the Gold Coast PHN. Position located within Kalwun Development Corp - Health Division. Kids in Care program offers first nations children on the Gold Coast that are in Out of Home Care up to six sessions of clinical or non-clinical intervention in either individual or group settings. The program works with all children from ages 0 to 19 that are currently subjected to a child protection order. The program offered to improve the social and emotional well-being of first nations populations by using mixture of structures psychological approaches, trauma-informed practices and cultural life story work. Additionally, the program offers clinical care coordination in with the aim to improve first nations health outcomes for children in out of home care. New program is expecting to launching in early February 2023.
