His efforts, combined with that of our structural, mechanical, and electrical experts, comprise the most comprehensive and experienced assessment team available in the forensic engineering market. Mr. Burns’ forensic experience includes structural design, failure analysis, construction defect, premises safety/injury (including trips and slips), water losses, wind assessments, hail assessments, flooring assessments, foundation performance evaluations (including movement attributed to plumbing leaks), building envelopes, air and water penetration (spray testing), glazed fenestration assessments, and much more. Mr. Burns and BSC staff under his responsible charge routinely perform investigations of commercial, residential, multi-family, high-rise, industrial, and government facilities.
