In this position I had the opportunity to work alongside my previous processing team, as well as sales, manufacturing, management, and materials. My main project was a resin consolidation and efficiency study which encompassed all resin plants in North America. With the support and mentor-ship of many experienced materials, process, and plant engineers, my proposal stood to save the company approximately $900,000 annually by eliminating inefficiencies in scrap and material selection. Additionally, I had a number of side projects including polymer research and part failure analysis for North American resin plants. Show less

In this position I had the opportunity to develop a completely new process concerning quality assurance for cable and ultrasonic weld. Another major project was to suggest and analyze improvements to an automated sealant process used to prevent corrosion on exposed terminals. Additionally, I had the opportunity to work on a number of small projects and grow into my role as part of an engineering team.
