  VTK is a student association of the KU Leuven Faculty of Engineering Science. This non-profit organisation represents over 2000 members.The vice-president is the single point of contact for internal members of the board. The main objective is to make sure there is a clear communication between the members of different teams and encourage the members to keep working and staying motivated. Also, he is the point of contact for external VTK-related associations which focus on a variety of different audiences and activities.

  The communication team of VTK is responsible for everything related to social media, marketing and creating graphical designs for promotional purposes. This includes making promotional material (banners, tickets, promo stunts..) for small & large events, creating small weekly magazines and large ones every quarter, and engaging with members via all social media platforms.

  The event team of VTK is responsible for hosting small & large student-minded events. This ranges from small cantus events with more than a hundred guests to large dance events with more than a thousand guests. The biggest event that VTK hosts is the gala event with over a few thousand guests.Being part of the event team, I have to maintain good coordination with the logistics and communication team to prepare the events from start to finish.
