  Mid Island Gifts at the Comox Airport gave me the opportunity to work independently assisting customers find souvenirs and gifts, run the cash register, open and close the store, as well as do cash outs. While this was a small airport, I worked during the 2010 Winter Olympics and interacted with people from a wide variety of nationalities and obtained a World Host Certificate. Mid Island Gifts at the Comox Airport gave me the opportunity to work independently assisting customers find souvenirs and gifts, run the cash register, open and close the store, as well as do cash outs. While this was a small airport, I worked during the 2010 Winter Olympics and interacted with people from a wide variety of nationalities and obtained a World Host Certificate.

Because of my flexibility and willingness to work, I also took shifts working in the restaurant and stocking the general store.
