Featuring interviews with council members, architects, designers and engineers, as well as prominent figures from both industry and government, this short film is intended to introduce a wider audience to the council, its efforts, and green building in general. A link to the film is provided below. Following the film production I was interviewed on Binus TV's "Face to Face" program about the film making process and my role as a market research and transformation assistant with the Green Building Council of Indonesia. Established CASA’s first ever international recruitment services department to recruit foreign workers to fill labour shortages in British Columbia, Alberta, and Saskatchewan. Workers were recruited primarily from China, Russia, the Philippines, and a variety of countries in Eastern Europe. The job required extensive knowledge of Canada’s Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) as a large part of my job was simply informing clients (employers) as well as potential employees of how Canada’s immigration policies operated as well as what their rights, responsibilities, and liabilities were. The job also required excellent communication skills in order to correspond and liaise with recruiters and employers from such a broad range of backgrounds and regions. Show less
