Pessimistically optimistic is the first word comes to mind when I think about Jarkko. He can be easily misunderstood as just another everyday regular programmer, but trapped inside the middle-aged body is a child-like curiosity and an open-minded mentality of a true top-notch programmer. His painless approach to alien/complicated technology and process is admirable - all thanks to Jarkko's astonishing patience and the simple belief that anything is technically possible. While everyone is on fire, Jarkko is usually found at his table, calmly and patiently working on the project. What I admire even more at Jarkko is his determination of keeping codebase clean, standardized and always up to date with the industry's latest standards, even on tight deadline and budget. As Robert C. Martin said in his famous book "Clean code": "The only way to make the deadline - the only way to go fast - is to keep the code as clean as possible at all times", Jarkko has that at hist heart.
