My passion is distinctive IT service delivery, especially to construction, engineering, and allied firms. I regularly specify, source, implement and support technology solutions based on desktop, application and server virtualization; traditional and hyperconverged datacenters; cloud computing; ERP; database and business intelligence; mobility solutions; converged communications; security and threat management...and many others.Technology is a team sport, and I direct an exceptionally talented and motivated staff. I develop project timelines and resource requirements, participate in technical interviews for new employees, develop and approve documentation, oversee vendor relationships, authorize and approve technology and telecom-related expenses, cultivate opportunities for staff development, and manage help desk escalations. Risk management and business continuity planning are central to my work.

I designed and developed an equipment scheduling and projections dashboard to complement ComputerEase Construction Software's native equipment and tool management system using Microsoft Visual Studio. I also developed a SQL Server-based data warehouse framework for Maxwell Management Suite using Visual Studio. Comprehensive ETL was made possible by combining Thoroughbred 3GL/ProvideX ODBC drivers with native Business Basic keyed file access. Data was readily harvested for dashboard creation, reporting and analysis. Third-party fleet management, material sales, tool crib and other databases were easily integrated. As customer needs grew beyond Maxwell, migrations to client-server ERP systems based on SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase, etc. were greatly facilitated.
