Bechtel is a widely-respected global engineering, construction, and project management company known for delivering landmark projects. As a Work Order Coordinator, I was responsible for receiving, allocating, and tracking work orders for the Chevron Wheatstone liquified natural gas plant which employed 12k employees. This included supporting logistics and procurement functions to ensure work tasks are completed on time and under budget. While in this role, I created and managed a warehouse that procured, received, and distributed consumables and workshop parts to keep our site’s cars, trucks, and machinery in proper working condition. KEJV was the general service provider for the Wheatstone liquified natural gas project. For the Wheatstone project, Bechtel and KEJV had a partnership, through which KEJV would complete work orders and Bechtel would provide the necessary supplies and materials. As a Materials Supervisor, I worked closely with Bechtel to ensure KEJV received sufficient supplies for their projects. This included proactively planning material needs, coordinating the procurement of materials, and managing a team of three employees responsible for physically checking material quality and quantity upon arrival. While in this role, I oversaw a $20M portfolio of materials, including the tracking of their location and movement over the six year project span. Show less
