Additionally, I developed a fully functional lab model mass spectrometer of the SUDA instrument planned for the Europa Clipper mission. This required circuit simulation, pcb fabrication, solidworks CAD, part fabrication & cleaning, calibration and impact testing using a dust accelerator, and project management skills. The lab instrument addressed several outstanding scientific questions to finalize the materials, electric potentials, and design of the full-scale engineering model put into production shortly after I left.
