  Oversee demolition and then construction and refurbishment of the FPSO. Provided project support and assistance (attended HAZOP's,HAZID's) in development of the facility maintenance procedures, routine tasks, and two year spares. Attended multiple vendor FATs and SATs including initial ISSOW electronic permit to work system testing. Late 2013 began commissioning of the FPSO systems including ICSS, Siemens Power Generation (world first Allen Bradley PLC control system upgrade to super typhoon turbines), Bentley Nevada vibration monitoring, Tyco fire and gas and UPS systems. April 2014 Departed Keppel ship yard as Senior E&I tech. Upon arriving at the Balnaves oil field continued commissioning until startup & first oil in Aug 2014. After first oil performed routine maintenance and purchase requisitions via Bassnet (electronic maintenance system). Conducted investigations and identified root cause of process trips, then rectification works of all electrical (high and low voltage), instrumentation, fire and gas (flame , heat & gas) detection equipment on the facility. Verify calibrations of Compressor gas flows and fuel gas use. Oversee the upgrade of the dual fuel ships boiler's control system. Create management of change request to upgrade earth fault monitoring equipment on emergency switchboard (red line markups and new requirements). Prepared and conducted final disconnect, sail away and warm lay up in Batam Indonesia.

  Provide engineering support for offshore electrical, instrumentation and Hazardous Area equipment; maintain Hazardous Area dossier including implementation of the Auto-population inspection form; plan and oversee projects and shutdown works including detailed, close and visual inspections, installation of sand monitoring equipment, pump room emergency lighting upgrade flare igniter cables and flare tip replacement. Layup coordinator, sail the Four Rainbow from Barrow Island to layup anchorage in Labuan Malaysia. Oversee and coordinate the layup of the facility including N2 blanket of the process. Conduct electrical preservation across all equipment on the facility. Installation and tie in of power generation to be used during layup. Wiring modifications to all major equipment so it could be run during layup without the DCS. Critical Function Testing of level, temperature, pressure transmitters and gas detectors; Hazardous Area inspections and rectifications. Thermograhic camera inspections of all electrical equipment, repairs performed on LV switchboards and high voltage buss bars. Installation and calibration of line of sight gas detectors. Recovered gas compressor VSD controller failed. Re-wired the VFD converting it from a 12-cell unit to 9-cell. This allowed the compressor to run @75% capacity until spare parts arrived. Annual testing and maintenance of electrical and instrument slip rings.
