  As a Computer Repair Tech, my job was to test computer components for functionality such as motherboards, memory, hard drives and network connectivity. If any parts were determined to be bad, those parts were then replaced with new ones. I also had to troubleshoot units that came in with no known issues. There were a series of tests that I conducted on the defective unit in order to eliminate possibilities and zero in on the actual issue at hand.
