  Working in the automation department at PPE Technologies during my university holidays over the past 4 years has equipped me with valuable electrical engineering skills and training. I received training courses in ABB PLC programming, panel wiring and workshop safety. I was tasked with reprogramming and installing a new PLC to operate the conveyor systems at Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport and designing home automation and solar energy management system. The projects included completing cable schedules, I/O lists, electrical wiring drawings (AutoCAD Electrical), and PLC cabinet designs. I also gained experience in high-level electrical CAD design, VSD configuration, and in-field installation of automation equipment.
