Industrial Facility Design Intern
-
May 2016 - Aug 2017
Apart of a industrial facility design group where I initially learned basic application of AutoCAD and Civil 3D in real world scenarios. As time progressed, I was given more responsibilities involving product take offs, CAD projects, estimates for clients, meetings, creation of data spreadsheets, product research for ideal pricing and appropriate engineering approaches/processes to address problems given to us by our clients. I was also exposed to on field GIS and surveying work, giving me a deeper understanding of the industrial design industry at the base of where it all starts, the following proceedings leading into design and the finishing procedures. Press Operator and Laborer

May 2014 - Aug 2014
I operated heavy machinery like presses to build and manufacture car parts. After working in the press room for sometime, I was switched into automotive fabrication of parts where we made sure products were in proper form and standards before shipped to the customer. If there were deformities on the parts, it was often my job to fix, grind, coat in a polish and prep the part so it can be shipped in the proper state. Laborer and Traffic Flagger
-
Jun 2013 - Aug 2013
Worked on a road crew that rebuilt M-53 between the town of Almont and Romeo, MI. I was around large road equipment often, tearing out sidewalks, loading scraps into machine buckets, cutting guard rail and old gas mains to prep back filling areas of the road, grade check, stoning, rolling and concreting. I often made sure the construction site was in orderly shape, clearing anything out of the way so work would be able to proceed smoothly. Often worked behind a shovel clearing out trenches for edge drain piping and spreading pea stone. Show less
