  As a hoist zinc plater at ESP I work with a hoist lift to plate metal parts for different job vendors. I work with many chemicals and ensure proper ph and temperature by making adds to the chemical solutions. The metal parts are loaded onto carts that I will then pick up with the hoist and plated by dipping them into chemical solutions to be cleaned and then finished with chrome or gold. Certain jobs need more or less time to plate so I have to perform great time management and organization with multiple jobs. I also work with the planner to track the quantities of jobs completed and sales from vendors. When I'm not plating I am racking or loading the different jobs onto the carts to be picked up by the hoist. I also work with pallet jacks to move pallets and organize the shop as well as air compressors to air dry parts and operate tools for various cleaning purposes. Show less
