Additional responsibilities include: Managing employee relations, oversight of financial reports, preparing and sending all bills to the owners for payment, verifying and making bank deposits, Guest relations and handling customer service issues, ordering and managing all beverage inventory, programing the POS system, Verifying the building is ready for business in the morning, filling all donation requests, enforcing Oasis policies such as the no-alcohol policy with guests or attendance policies with employees, managing employee discipline when necessary, diffusing conflicts both with guests and employees, researching new and creative technologies to better operate our business, and acting as a representative of the owners and the Oasis as a whole. In addition to my managerial responsibilities I also run the corporate payroll for all Oasis employees. This includes preparing the direct deposit for every employee across all locations, preparing and paying state and federal taxes, handling sensitive information, transferring funds between accounts, reporting new hires to appropriate state agencies, writing checks, confirming policies on vacation and sick time are being followed, and ensuring all payroll data is entered accurately.
