Over the past two years, I’ve come to consider myself incredibly lucky to have had the opportunity to learn from and grow with Jared. His authenticity and personal brand is apparent from the time you meet him, but the level of skill and execution he brings to the table is complex and layered. Jared is an individual who can quickly understand and extract information from a situation, but more importantly, he is able to create a vision for how these bits of information can fit into a strategy or project to better the output. I can personally vouch for these skills as Jared worked with me on a business I am launching post MBA and helped to define the wants, needs, and true motivations of my consumers, which ultimately shaped the way I am bringing my business to market. His energy, enthusiasm, and raw talent are unparalleled and Jared will shine on any team he has the opportunity to lead, join, or partner with.
Detra Montoya Ph.D.
Jared was student in my Brand Management course in the W. P. Carey School of Business MBA program. Jared was a top contributor to class discussions, often offering up new insights or challenging the status quo. He demonstrated strong analytical and critical thinking skills in the context of marketing and brand management. Jared also works well in teams, and will excel in a collaborative and creative environment. I highly recommend Jared for a marketing or brand management position, as I strong believe he would be a valuable asset to any organization.
Matt Allbee, MBA, CPA (inactive)
I had the pleasure of being teammates with Jared during both our first and last quarters of B-school. Jared was always curious and eager to learn during our time working together, and I could always depend on Jared for a high quality final deliverable. The most impressive thing I can say about Jared is his ability to not only overcome his fears but thrive on them. The first weakness I ever heard Jared tell me was that he didn’t enjoy being in front of everyone and having to present – then two short years later he was voted as the class speaker at our final class send off. Any organization will be lucky to have Jared on its team!

In this role I helped to design and implement a strategy for the Center for Entrepreneurship at the W. P. Carey School of Business that increased student engagement [over] 10x at 10% of the cost. This was achieved, in part, by enhancing the community network, launching new programs based on audience feedback (i.e. Founders Lab, Business Design Studios, The State of Startups - Student Research Project), relying on intra-university collaboration and strategic marketing based on audience… Show more In this role I helped to design and implement a strategy for the Center for Entrepreneurship at the W. As a part of my MBA experience, I applied what I learned through work experience that was focused on the ideation, creation, and implementation of customer-centered projects for two organizations: ASU Center for Child Well-Being, and The Center for the Future of Arizona. This experience allowed me to build a network that helped me take concept to roadmap to creative prototype which ultimately led to earlier than scheduled product testing and launch.
