The Cymanii project is centered on cyber-manufacturing and the improvement of energy management techniques within the industry. I am helping to develop an energy control strategy for a local company to increase its energy savings. So far I have analyzed energy and production patterns to develop and model a baseline of the company's energy use as a function of relevant variables. Currently, I am analyzing demand patterns to develop energy optimization techniques and create a control strategy. At the IAC, I also help perform energy assessments on small to mid-sized companies to recommend how they can save on energy within their industrial, thermal, and electrical systems. So far I have been on three assessments.
