  Jeffco EDC is the economic development arm for Jefferson County. Colorado's oldest EDO, we serve our county of nearly 600,000 residents and 41,000 businesses. As a public / private partnership, our guiding principle is to create access to quality jobs for all our residents through business attraction, expansion, advocacy, and development. In 2022, we created two new verticals to the EDC. The West Metro Chamber to serve our small business, young professional, and women in business community and Leadership Jeffco that is developing our leaders from youth through career.

Serving in an executive position for our family business, I have had the unique ability to fully understand the struggles and triumphs of America’s small businesses. My Day-to-Day duties include the management of financials and accounting duties, which include ARs, APs, payroll, and taxes.   Spartanburg Area Chamber of Commerce acts as a county-wide organization servicing over 300,000 citizens and 1200 business members. A unique attribute to the Spartanburg Chamber is that it houses the traditional Chamber functions; Convention & Visitors Bureau; Industrial Development; and Downtown Development. My role served as the leader of the newly formed Downtown Development Partnership, which includes acting as the primary economic development entity, leader of quality of place initiatives, and builder of a vibrant culture to attract and retain talent.

  Dothan is a community of 67,000 citizens that like many cities lost their focus on downtown and the core was left in shambles. The DDRA was formed in 2007 as a quasi-government entity with the mission to act as the catalyst for change and development in Dothan’s core downtown. A few of our duties and successes include: - Economic Development - Budget Creation & Tracking - Incubator Creation: A creative solutions brainstorm led to the need of incubators in our community to allow start-ups to blossom. We created the Nest on Foster in 2013, which is a retail incubator that has launched over 12 new businesses in our area. In 2016, we developed the Hub on Troy as a tech/design accelerator geared towards the creative class of industry. It has yielded high interest and rave reviews as Dothan’s little “slice of Google offices.” - Marketing/Events: Management of over 20 annual events such as Foster Fest, Farm 2 Fork Dinner, Poplar Head Farmer’s Market, and Downtown Christmas Festival that brings the community together for quality, family fun.
