  When I founded TEDxHeidelberg in 2016 it was nothing more than a project idea on trial and a wish for a more diverse and impactful platform in Heidelberg. Soon the vision was picked up by a broad variety of partners and constantly outgrew itself. Together with partners like SAP, Merck, Holiday Inn, the city of Heidelberg and many more, TEDxHeidelberg grew to be one of the major idea & innovation platforms in the region. While constantly pushing our limits, we're connecting creative thinkers, goal-oriented decision-makers, researchers and curious minds. My role in all of this?Building a project like TEDxHeidelberg from the scratch required me to redefine the scope of my comfort zone and quite often reinvent myself. By now I manage an international team of 25 dedicated organisers (12 nationalities, age range: 19 - 53), negotiate partnerships and shape the strategic orientation of the platform.

This innovative approach from Finland offers teams the chance to overcome structural flaws in their set-up and helps them to verbalise their needs. Working with partners from the escape room business, they're able to provide real gamified experiences!My role in all of this?While SmoothTeam already successfully helps companies & organisations to empower their teams in Finland, I've been responsible for the expansion into the German market. As Country Manager I was mainly responsible to develop the business within Germany and represent SmoothTeam in sales & partner negotiations.

  It was my honour to be the project lead of the event pilot "Media|Future|Festival", which intended to create a regional platform for journalists to actively discuss and develop scenarios for the future of journalism. Together with partners like the SRH, LfK (Media Authority Baden-Württemberg) and many more, we've offered an interactive approach towards a broad variety of topics, ranging from Mobile Reporting to discussions about the challenges of local journalism. My role in all of this?I actively managed a team of 6 organisers, negotiated various financial and marketing-oriented partnerships, supervised the speakers acquisition, developed and coordinated the event-day's program and represented the project internally and externally.
