I worked together with Jannina at Clarion Hotel Helsinki. No matter how busy day we had she was always there for others: for the guest as well as the colleagues. Jannina has exceptional customer services skills and she is very passionate of her work and that way also inspires her team members. She helped me to discover my assets and gaining confidence for my work as receptionist. If you are looking passionate, hard-working and caring colleague to your team: it is Jannina 3

Passionately leading the Welcome Office Team in Clarion Hotel Helsinki with courage and enthusiasm. Being in charge of the HR and culture as a Passion Coach, leading the Loyalty program as a Nordic Choice Ambassador, connecting the hotel and the locals as a We Care-ambassador and taking care of Green values as a Green Stay-ambassador. Many liabilities and designations but that's exactly what I love!EMPLOYEE OF THE YEAR 2017

"No two neighbourhoods are alike. Neither any two Hotel Indigo properties." Hotel Indigo is Intercontinental Hotel Group's most growing brand. The hotel brand is all about vibrance, inspiration, uniqueness and locality which both travelers and locals will sence in the service, design, athmosphere and wine & dine. Hotel Indigo leaves you speechless, then turns you into a storyteller. I had the honour to be part of the opening team of Hotel Indigo Helsinki-Boulevard. While working at Hotel Indigo Helsinki-Boulevard the hotel was rewarded two years in row for Finland's leading Boutique Hotel and the position on TripAdvisor tossed between #1 and #2 with amazing reviews. As a Front Office Duty Manager I had the leading responsibility of reception's operational side. My responsibilities also included training, shift planning, customer satisfaction, hotel's loyalty program and assisting in Social Media marketing. While Hotel Manager was absent I was the deputy of hers taking the leading charge of the hotel management duties including for example recruiting and accounting. Show less

While studying Cultural Management in Jyväskylä I was anxiously craving for an energetic customer service work as a part-time job. I managed to get my first hotel reception position at Sokos Hotel Alexandra where I had the best possible coaches to teach me the basics of reception duties. The Hotel Manager started a new hotel opening project and I was very lucky to be one of the chosen ones to start something extraordinary in Finland. A new brand within the Sokos Hotels chain called "Solo" was launched on the same day we opened our hotel and the success of the hotel's just keeps proudly walking its home run. At Solo Sokos Hotel Paviljonki I was proudly driving the Customer Service quality as a "Solo Coach" by training staff, observing and reporting to the management. I also took over the responsibility of launching Social Media's interactive use at the hotel and managing it on daily basis. My years working for Sokos Hotels and especially at Solo Sokos Hotel Paviljonki taught me the impact of personalized, passionate and always genuine customer service. The importance of great team spirit was also one of my biggest learnings from Solo Sokos Hotel Paviljonki. Show less

I have always had a passion for working as a tourist guide in some point of my life. You know, with a big sunny smile welcome travellers to a new country with an "¡Hola!", inspire them with exciting stories on excursions, to be available for them in any situations and the most important - help them to make their vacation dreams come true. With Aurinkomatkat I had the chance to do this all and much more. I also had a great possibility to improve my social media skills by being responsible for the company's tablet pilot project and train my colleagues to embrace tablets on their everyday work as a guide. Being a travel guide taught me a ton but the most valuable lesson was about my self. After working as a travel guide I've seen everything (in good and in bad) when it comes to customer service and that is why there isn't too many things that would stir me nowadays as a customer server. My second and third internships accomplished for Lastenliitto developed my producing skills a lot. During the internships I had the honor to produce independently twice a Winter Camp and a Spring Event where we had almost 800 attendees enjoying the lovely event with me and my production team. Beyond the event management I was assisting at the office, orientating to accounting and directing in various clubs of the organization's. While being a trainee for Lastenliitto I realized the importance of seeing the whole picture from beginnings drawings to the end's thank you letters - that's the key point for being a professional producer! As my first internship I produced a famous children's opera which became a huge success both by its popularity and its revenue. The production process included for example duties as sales, marketing, budgeting, co-operations, purchases for the scenery - just to mention some of them. While being responsible for this amazing production I realized my talents within event management. I also learned that working under pressure gives me a lot of extra boost for doing my work even better. As a Sales Representative I had a great possibility to build the ground to my hotel career. I was a part of the sales team for Radisson Blu Hotels managing individual reservations and package reservations through phone, e-mail and fax. During my years at Sokotel I learned all the important basics about hotel bookings and hotel environment over all. Working as a Sales Representative has taken me far within the hotel industry and I'm grateful to have also the knowledge behind the processes at a hotel's front desk. Show less
