  This is the transition from Nokia to Microsoft. In daily work nothing really changed before Microsoft decided to shutdown Tampere site. Our Team started to use more Microsoft techologies, like Visual Studio Team Services (VSTS), .ASPNET and MSSQL. More detailed information can be found from my CV.After shutdown notification of Tampere site I am in the shutdown crew. Main responsibility is to archive data contents of services which were implemented and maintained by our team. This work continues until mid March 2017.

  Several positions, roles and titles during 15 years.Sep 2011 until Microsoft aquired Nokia phone business:Moved to Customization organization as a member in a team which implemented and maintained variant Creation tools. In this context variant means customized software packages for operators. As our team was working in scrum mode responsiblities and tasks varied alot. Technologies included Python with Django. MySQL and MSSQL. More details on this period can be found from my CV.Aug 2008-Aug 2011:Moved to configuration team. Main responsibilites in doing the actual product configurations and trying to improve S60 configurability in general, mainly by writing errors. This was the only period in my Nokia time which did not include that much coding or finding bugs in source codes.Jan 2008-June 2008:Internal short term transfer to Vancouver office. Working on N96 integration and configuration management. . 2004-2007:Working in product integration, reponsibilities included error debugging and software integration. I also implemented component which handled screen rotation based on the slider events and some other device states. Implemented also a component that handled media key routing for applications, again depending on the device state. These were done for N95 and N95 8GB productsAt some point one of my written down responsiblity was "Taking care of all application not handled by other teams".1999-2004:Started as a summer trainee, after the summer my contract was continued. During this time I was implementing different Symbian OS applications for testing purposes, including FieldTestTool for S60 smartphones (wrote my master's thesis on this application). This application introduced advanced features compared to the old Nokia FTD (Field Test Tool) such as automatic dial tester, logging of selectable network parameters and customisable views.Another larger application was done for hardware reliablity and EMC testing.
