      During this three-week internship at the University Hospital of Antwerp UZA, I was able to work within the ENT department under the supervision of dr. Laure Jacquemin. The internship, which is part of my bachelor’s thesis, focused primarily on tinnitus and related psychological comorbidities. I was given the opportunity to follow various steps of a clinical trial that aims to investigate the efficacy of online-based Tinnitus Retraining Therapy (iTRT) in the treatment of tinnitus distress. Special thanks to dr. Laure Jacquemin for making this internship possible. It was an interesting and educational experience that enabled me to increase my statistical and clinical knowledge in a team that immediately made me feel at ease. Show less
