  As a research intern in the Petrenko Lab at Mt. Hope Family Center, I am working with data collected from clinical trials focusing on emotion regulation in children with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD). I am gaining quantitative and qualitative data entry and analysis skills while building my own research question which I will develop and present at the Undergraduate Research Expo in the Spring of 2023.   As a Teaching Assistant for the University of Rochester Undergraduate Biology Department, I planned weekly lessons for two workshop sections with 25 students in which I reviewed course content and helped students to prepare for assessments. Students followed the lesson plans I created and participated in group discussions. I helped grade and administer exams for the 272 students in the class.
