      As a mid-weight planner in a planning team for BSkyB (6mths) and Samsung (3mths), I reported in to various Account Directors and the Head of Planning and was the lead planner on several campaigns and activities. I ran training sessions and wrote best practise guidelines for the client across Twitter, Facebook & YouTube. I also took the initiative and wrote business cases for new platforms, e.g. Pinterest During my tenure I supported a Trainer Planner to gain promotion to Planner and built strong connections between the Planning team and the burgeoning Studio. I was also a vocal member of Planning Meetings, and fed in to the development of the Creative Briefing Template. Lead planner on #WhatsOnSky campaign Tasked with talking to current Sky customers about the value of their subscription and have the conversation overheard by FreeView customers, the insight I found was that the audience’s ‘viewing decision’ was made en route home. This led us to hold direct & interactive conversations across the Twitter platform and across DOOH–enabled train stations to highlight the breadth & depth of content in a manner that was both personal and also formed a broadcast. The campaign was 80times more effective than its closest comparison and won a Digital Media Award, for Best Social Media Campaign. This was a tactical activation that called for a truly inventive influencer program. I developed a night that immersed bloggers in the era: costumiers; burlesque performers; a band; a cocktail bar and, of course, the screening. This generated a reach of 4,458,736; multiple posts per blogger; a cost per reader of £0.0063 and a 500times increase in buzz. Show less
