This included translating business unit objectives and strategies to develop brand portfolio objectives, strategies and plans to facilitate business unit growth for HSC’s INDUSTRIAL (Communications, Water & Wastewater groups), BUILDING AUTOMATION & CONTROLS (BAC) and MECHANICAL SERVICES divisions. Traditional roles also included developing, implementing and facilitating marketing plans, developing/overseeing marketing budgets and managing marketing suppliers; which included negotiating with media agents to secure agreements for translation of materials into other media, developing promotional materials (including marketing collaterals and print copies). Additional roles were to plan, develop and implement business development and sales initiatives for targeted markets. Supporting roles include assisting company business units with client support activities, project deliverables, and writing and editing materials according to specific market or customer requirements. As Branch Administrative Manager for HSC’s Hurricane office, responsible for the day-to-day operations and communications between the Hurricane office and HSC’s home office in Beckley. This included facilitation of an office move in Hurricane, WV and start-up of a new location in Knoxville, TN. In addition, assisted HSC’s CEO, Director of Operations and all division Managers with special projects (applying for a grant/loan application for a solar panel project, coordination of radio and TV advertising initiatives, developing business plans for new product lines for the company’s Water & Wastewater division and development of yearly business plans for the company’s BAC division). For this event I assisted in the coordination of event announcement, mailings, RSVP tracking, gathered donations (monetary and auction items), donations received tracking, decorating for the event and many other activities required to host a fundraiser with over 500 attendees. •Responsible for developing a business plan/marketing strategy for NAICS defined industry sectors to develop young entrepreneurship and promote economic development for four tri-state counties.
