Janine is a rock star PM who was able to come onto my team, pick up a project that was in distress from a PM that had been let go, and turned around the project to deliver the next phases on schedule. She brought order from the chaos. She led the largest transformative effort to build an entirely new way to engage with our global customer base, bringing the MVP to reality. She further delivered enhancements to a tool acquired through acquisition to expand its reach from a single country to regional coverage to open new market opportunities for independent contractor qualifying. Janine also brought best practice recommendations, shared templates and knowledge with the broader PMO team to improve service delivery to the business. These practices also included working with the IT leaders to improve Scum practices and planning to allow for better prediction of functionality availability to the business. Janine was a sounding board for me as the PMO leader to bounce ideas off of and to help navigate how to mature the organization. Her maturity and experience made it easy for me to let Janine run with these very complex and often politically charged projects, working directly with senior leadership to define scope, overcome obstacles, and resource the effort as needed. Janine was a fantastic team member and provided mentorship and support to other PMs as needed. Her positive attitude and drive to deliver business value will be missed.
