  Responsible for the day to day operation in the Judicial Registry/Orders Unit. Review orders, worked as a part clerk in the court room with Support Magistrates. Front line supervisor over a full staff in Family Court Clerk’s Office. Supervised clerical staff consisting of Court Assistants, Senior Court Office Assistance and Court Office Assistance. Review motions and orders for confirmation with Judges decisions. Record and maintains records of court proceedings. Examine court documents to ensure their accuracy, completeness and legal sufficiency. Contact attorneys or parties to a case by telephone, or letter if submitted documents and forms do not comply with statutes or procedures. Prepare summonses. Communicate with other courts, Outside agencies such as the Police, Probation, Attorneys and Child Support Enforcement Unit in order to coordinate the court’s activities with said agencies. Answer inquiries from attorneys, judges, parties to a case, and court personnel regarding court procedures and the filing of court documents. Accept affidavits, notices of appearance, written consents orders, motion papers or other court documents by having all parties ready for the trial or conference. Interprets orders, decisions, judgments, pleadings and motions to determine the directives of judges, Support Magistrates and the reliefs sought by attorneys and parties to the case. Assigns work responsibilities to court personnel and monitors performance. Gather documents pertaining to a case and places these in a file in order to create and maintain an accurate and permanent record of each case. Supervisor over the scanning pilot project. I helped create the career map for employees which is now used by the Unified Court System.
