SCOPE1.1 This procedure describes the procedural methods and requirements for the preparation, review, approval and distribution of design documents and control of design activities and interfaces for Customer’s Supplied Documents in addition applicable international standards.(ASME Code, PD-5500 and PED, etc). 2 ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITY2.1 Design Engineer; Preparation of Design Plan, Design Input, Design Output and Design Review 2.2 Design Reviewer or Verifier (Senior Design Engineer); Design Verification (or Design Review) of Design Output.2.3 ENG Team Manager; Approval of Design Output.3. DESIGN PLAN3.1 Design plan defines the requirement to ensure uniform methods of conducting project design work, and explains the relationships and responsibilities necessary to follow specific method and accomplish design activities. Refer to Flow Chart Procedure (Exhibit A; Flow Chart Procedure)4. DESIGN INPUT4.1 Design input shall be prepared by design engineer in accordance with the customer's design specifications, data sheets or engineering drawing on the Design Input / Verification Sheet 5. DESIGN OUTPUT5.1 Calculation sheet shall be the design document which includes stress analysis or calculations or both to shown that the allowable limits are not exceeded for the loadings specified in the design specification.6. DESIGN REVIEW6.1 Design Review process comprises a series of reviews carried out at design input and output stages. Design Review provide opportunities to identify and to correct deviations from the specified requirement and to highlight potential problems and risks in meeting.Reviews applicable to a particular design shall be determined on the basis of project complexity. 7. DESIGN VERIFICATION7.1 The design verification shall be completed before release of drawings, specifications and reports for each stage such as procurement, fabrication and construction. Show less
