Yvette Hastings

I first met Jan when she was a business advisor for SMEs and start-ups at Reaseheath College, running many key coaching and networking events. Aften Jan moved to the Tatton Group, she has assisted me in my capacity as Area Leader for the Federation of Small Businesses, advising on a variety of topical issues as well as contributing to our National Policy's regional review on broadband. Jan has also helped me with introductions to key parties in the third sector for FSB Mental Health activities. She understands the needs and challenges faced by businesses and is quick to offer relevant support, guidance and sign posting. I feel very privileged to have met Jan and look forward to working with her on other projects that benefit the North West.

Janet is a fantastic colleague and mentor. I have worked with Jan twice and would work with her again if I could! Whilst working together at Reaseheath College I saw her forge excellent relationships with all manor of SME businesses as she helped them to grow and improve their business through business planning and providing access to CPD and 1-2-1 advice. Whilst at Tatton Group Jan worked on a number of internal and external business planning projects to improve business efficiency and grow the company. In both roles Jan has been a brilliant team player and has supported/mentored her colleagues as and when they need it. Jan's fantastic communication skills, can-do attitude, problem solving and work ethic are some of her biggest strengths.
