Janet served as the CEO of the Literacy Coalition for two years during my tenure as the Quality Assurance Manager. Working under Janet's leadership was a privilege and a transformative experience, one that has significantly impacted my professional growth and development. Janet has a gift for strategic vision that was very inspirational to me. Her innate curiosity about our work and the impact it has on our community served as a testament to her unwavering passion and commitment to making a difference in the lives of our students. One of the remarkable qualities that set Janet apart was her willingness to take on multiple roles within our organization. Her dedication to the success of the Literacy Coalition knew no bounds, and her ability to balance various responsibilities with grace and poise was truly remarkable. Janet has had a profound influence on my leadership journey and professional development. She always challenged me to think bigger, encouraging me to step out of my comfort zone and explore my potential. Her unwavering commitment to my growth and success speaks volumes about her character and her dedication to the people she works with. Janet is the kind of leader who can make an indelible impact on any organization she is a part of. Her strategic expertise and unwavering commitment to making a positive change in our community are qualities that set her apart. I am confident that she will continue to inspire, lead, and make a profound difference wherever she chooses to apply her talents.

I've had the pleasure of working with Mrs. Janet Torres while I was employed with LCCT incorporated with AmeriCorps. Janet is a boots on the ground, hands-on approach, open-door policy type of CEO. Not only is Janet approachable with all her employees, but she has also served as a mentor to me in my life after AmeriCorps. Janet has not only gone the extra mile for me but she has taken time to get to know my family as well. I highly recommend Janet for any leadership role, I am confident that she would be a great asset to any company and they will be lucky to have her aboard as a leader.
