I led marketing, events, management reporting, pipeline management, and symbol reservation. I led two key objectives including driving share of trading in domestic and equity markets and increasing the number of companies listed on NASDAQ, including the dual listing capability advertising NASDAQ’s performance to issuers. (Dual listing came about as the NYSE moved to eliminate Rule 500, the so-called “roach motel,” making it difficult for institutions to switch exchanges.) The corporate client group revenue was nearly $40M. In addition, I executed the strategy for Dual listings and driving market share of listed companies. In 2004, P&L and IPOs on NASDAQ increased 204% to 170, representing 65% of the 260 IPOs across all markets that year. Of the 170 listed companies, 22 were international which attributed to $4B in capital. I built the sales team of ~25, hiring and developing staff to support new listings. Show less
