I led two key objectives including driving share of trading in domestic and equity markets and increasing the number of companies listed on NASDAQ, including the dual listing capability advertising NASDAQ’s performance to issuers. (Dual listing came about as the NYSE moved to eliminate Rule 500, the so-called “roach motel,” making it difficult for institutions to switch exchanges.)
