Under the direction of Dr. Chidambaram, worked to familiarize students with some of the core issues related to language, by taking a broader view of language. Under the direction of Dr. Chidambaram, worked to familiarize students with some of the core issues related to language, by taking a broader view of language. The course focused on core issues as well as the properties of language. Expectations included regular attendance of the bi-weekly lecture, and preparedness to address content-related questions and concerns on behalf of the students. Teaching Assistants were also expected to attend weekly-scheduled preparation meetings with the instructor and other T.As. Duties involved: weekly office hours to address questions, concerns, and provide additional guidance on assignments, and exam preparation. Duties also included: proctoring and grading all exams and quizzes, as well as the calculating and inputting of all grades into the school's iLearn grading system.

In addition to weekly discussions, I also hold 3 weekly office hours, with an open-door policy for all students of the course. Tutoring for students is also available, with prior notice, when necessary. Expected responsibilities during examinations are to proctor and grade exams, as well as inputting grades into the school's iLearn grading system. Teaching Assistants are responsible for the grading of all materials, as well as attending weekly-scheduled information meetings with the instructor and other course TAs.
