As manager of the Medical Staff Office at Mission Hospitals, I oversee operations, programs and activities of the MSO, consistent with Department Leadership's objectives and directly lead Mission Hospital Medical Staff Coordinators. I coordinate and manage all aspects of Medical Staff, Advance Practitioner and Allied Health Professional Credentialing, staff assigned committees and oversee quality of department work products. My role involves providing input to the Physician Data Coordinator relative to our organizational needs and management of the interface of Physician Data Management software with Mission Health Website. I provide support to the Health System Medical Staff Services Offices, as well as our Credentials Verification Office. This involves working closely with the Executive Director and Associate CMO to develop goals and establish credentialing processes to meet the needs of the evolving Health System. My role as Manager also involves overseeing the accurate and confidential collection and distribution of reported Peer Review concerns to the medical staff leaders, as well as supporting the OPPE and FPPE process with Performance Improvement.
