Plan and implement a number of conferences and events each year for RAC members. These events include Rail-Government Interface, which brings government officials and railway members together to discuss important ongoing transportation sector matters. Janet also helped coordinate Canada's largest rail conference and trade show, the Canadian Rail Summit, which includes various committee meetings, the annual general meeting, conference, trade show and off-site activities. In addition to events, Janet also manages the RAC's membership services and has quite a bit of experience in dealing with stakeholders and government officials.The Railway Association of Canada represents some 50 goods, tourist, commuter and intercity Rail businesses in Canada, their more than 34,000 employees and has more than 60 associate member suppliers and partners.
