Executive Operations Manager

Jun 2018 - Mar 2020
The role of EOM encompassed a broad range of divisional sections, all within a support services 'operations' function, reporting directly to the COO. My main areas of responsibility included all aspects of Properties & Facilities Management (4 x live sites and close down of multiple sites (due to company growth/M&A)) and company-wide Health & Safety (including Fleet, Risk Assessments, plant & equipment, PPE, staff training, contractor management, policy creation and review, etc). I was also appointed the project lead for our GDPR preparations in 2017, and held the ongoing overall responsibility for GDPR compliance after the Regulations came into effect in 2018, including managing SARs, DPIAs, Personal Data policies & Management team support and advice. I was also responsible for all aspects of Marketing, which included the redesign and relaunch of our main company website, the inception and creation of three marketing promotional videos, management of all company news stories, e-marketing activities, social media accounts and online reviews. I was also part of a small team responsible for the company M&A overall programme management.Lastly, I was involved in FCA compliance, including managing the company Complaints process and internal reporting. Network Services Manager
-
Jul 1999 - Sep 2015
I was responsible for all aspects of monthly telecoms billing (WLR, Data services, Hosted telephony, Inbound, NGN and Mobile) and also all Mobile provisioning & support for Corona Corporate Solutions.I provided back office product and pricing support to our Sales, Customer Care and Technical teams, as well as being part of the team responsible for supplier relationships and commercial agreements. I originally joined the business in 1999 when it was Corporate Business Technology (which later became Corporate ICT), as a temp in the Technical department. I progressed in my time with that team, becoming the Senior Project Manager in 2002.In 2006, the Network Services department was created and I seized the opportunity to become the Manager of the newly formed division from its beginning. I nurtured and expanded the scope, processes and responsibilities of the department and team members for nearly ten years until Sept 2015, when I jumped at the chance to (again) take on the challenge of a brand new role/department for myself and Corona.
