Following a take over, I was responsible for the transfer of the New Business Administration from our Edinburgh office (which was to close) to Glasgow and India. I led teams in all three locations during the training and support of new staff and designed and implemented consistent procedures across these locations. This ambitious project finished three weeks ahead of schedule. During a project that designed an award winning product on a new system, I was responsible for training and implementation and then maintaining the customer service levels during a period of high growth (business increased ten fold) . By centralising all the New Business administration in Edinburgh (with local input from twelve sites across the UK) I took a team of twelve up to 300 over a period of two years - a period which required an innovative and flexible approach to both the processes and the people.
