  After being out of the paralegal work force for about 18 years, I began working again at the law firm of Koeller, Nebeker, Carlson & Haluck in August of 2013. The main focus of my work is in construction defect litigation cases. I also handle a few wrongful death, personal injury and property damage cases. My responsibilities involve management of the cases from beginning to end which includes maintaining a relationship with the client, acquiring and organization of all relevant documents, assist in the preparation of pleadings and discovery, legal research, corresponding with all parties involved, scheduling meetings, depositions and site inspections and attending same. Recently I have expanded my area of practice to adoption law.
