Janelle is an empathetic and strategic thinker. She is considerate of every aspect of the customer's experience, but is also deeply organized and prepared for all of the steps it takes to even get there. In many leadership meetings, Janelle was often a voice of reason and was outspoken when necessary about adjustments the company could make to improve. The most common interaction I had with Janelle often ended up with genuine surprise at how prepared she was. I kept expecting to eventually catch her with a question or favor that would be outside of her area of preparedness and expertise, but it never happened. More often then not she would send me large Google docs she already prepared outlining what to do for a similar situation to the one I was in. I remember after about 8 separate, unrelated meetings with her (sometimes impromptu) on all sorts of different topics from personal productivity, people management, corporate politics, hardware product development, product lifecycle, company strategy, etc., I realized that every single meeting with her I had learned something immediately valuable to me in my own job. I was lucky to work with Janelle!
