The Direct Primary Care (DPC) model is a patient-centered approach to healthcare that emphasizes a direct relationship between patients and their primary care providers, typically family physicians or internists. In this model, patients pay a monthly or annual fee to their DPC provider, which covers a wide range of primary care services. This arrangement eliminates the need for traditional fee-for-service billing and insurance claims, allowing for more personalized, accessible, and comprehensive care.
