I have had the pleasure of working for Janell for two years. She is a driven individual and regardless of the task and deadline placed in front of her, she able to be successful and accomplish not only the mission at hand, but to continuing pushing forward with the daily job duties. Janell displays a comprehensive grasp on what it takes to be a leader and a supervisor. Her tactics in the resolution of conflict and preventing it within an office setting, I believe, comes from her ability to adapt to any situation and her history of working with diverse groups of people. In just a short matter of time in working for her I found myself turning to her as a mentor. She fully believes that her success is measured by not only her individual accomplishments but the triumphs of her team. I was able to experience this time and time again. I have personally learned from her that to make the hard decision and following through with them always keeping the client’s, or in this case the student’s, best interest in mind.

I am writing this recommendation for Janell McIntyre. I had the privilege of working for her for several years. Over that period, she worked to develop a strong team dynamic while also challenging us to develop our own leadership roles. She fostered out of the box thinking, showing us that being determined and doing whatever it takes to get the job done right is worth the effort. Janell excelled at staying ahead of the curve in a very rapidly changing industry, developing and implementing policies and procedures ahead of schedule. I was always impressed by her level of knowledge and her ability to quickly review a situation and come up with an effective solution. She is a sharp, creative person with an easy going likeability. While her trainings were always packed with valuable information, she also made them fun and enjoyable. I have no doubt that she will be extremely successful in her next endeavor.
