Relationship building and strong communication is at the core of what I do in this role. I have helped establish and maintain strong relationships with senior management, internal customers and external community leaders - all of which benefit West Kentucky Community and Technical College. I also use digital marketing tactics including website content and social media to advertise upcoming training and coordinate regional job fairs. Through this role, I have increased sales by 10x with new and existing clients in industries including healthcare, food services, banking, government, transportation, manufacturing and building trades. I also played an intricate role in securing $950,000 in proposed training for FY2022 and continue to write and submit grants for funding. Show less

Communication was at the forefront of my role as a senior representative on the team supporting US Congressman Ed Whitfield, First District of Kentucky. During his tenure in Congress, I was the communication liaison between the people of our community and the Congressman. I represented and communicated to organizations on his behalf at various community events, meetings and press/media briefings forming essential partnerships and relationships for the Congressman. My most significant work through this role was the coordination and communication I led for emergency situations in our region. These included the Ice Storm (2009), the severe flooding in our region and the Birds Point Levee breach (2011) and the Egner's Ferry Bridge accident (2012). Show less
