  I lead our highly rated team of 14 employment and immigration lawyers. I work closely with business leaders, including HR Directors and in-house Counsel, to provide commercial legal input into business critical employment and partnership issues. These include discrimination prevention and litigation, strategic Boardroom and partner appointments and terminations, local and international redundancy and restructuring, restrictive covenant and garden leave enforcement and protection of confidential information, complex grievance complaints, industrial relations and data protection issues. My recent work includes: • protecting our FTSE250 client company's interests by enforcing its confidentiality and post-termination restrictions against departing employees and their new employers, including obtaining undertakings and High Court injunctions • successfully defending a private equity house against whistleblowing claims brought by a partner • working as part of a media client project team, averting industrial action and renegotiating its collective agreement • advising a public company on a pan-European restructure with the closure of parts of its business, intra-group TUPE-transfers and collective redundancies • successfully defending a media group against Employment Tribunal proceedings in respect of employee status for casual workers/freelancers • working for listed and non-listed companies, LLPs and senior individuals, negotiating and drafting Employment and Severance Agreements, including complex incentive arrangements, and advising on corporate governance and regulatory issues I am an active member of the Employment Lawyers’ Association's Sexual Harassment Standing Committee.
