Elizabeth Garat
I met Jane when she was hired as our Chaplain at St. Mary's. I came to know her not only as a dedicated and compassionate professional, but as a vibrant and creative person. I consider her a valued friend. Once Jane suggested I curate an art show for our campus gallery pertaining to images of the Feminine Divine from different Faith traditions. It was an inspired idea we followed through on- making a beautiful Exhibit that brought together an array of people from our Community using art as the vehicle. I've had the pleasure of participating in workshops Jane led for faculty and Staff. In preparing her workshops, Jane found just the right tone- making them enjoyable and meaningful. Though I miss having her in my daily work environment, I treasure the insights I get from our interactions. Jane is someone you want on your team and in your life.
