From May 1992-February 2010. Over the course of 18 years, I was promoted six times in the organization to positions of increasing responsibility. Vice President for Programs: • Directed and supervised 26 program areas including Residential Treatment, Outpatient Behavioral Health, Child Welfare, Education, and Prevention Services. • Responded to grant opportunities which led to securing funding for prevention programs in Philadelphia.• Provided leadership for the agency to maintain JCAHO Reaccreditation. • Worked closely with the Board of Directors by attending all meetings and providing monthly reports.

Director of Residential Treatment Services

I was responsible for leading and supervising of all services provided within the Residential Treatment and the Semi-Independent Living Programs. My guidance helped to mentor over 100 professional staff who reported directly or indirectly to me. Significant accomplishments under my leadership included the strengthening of communication between all departments to ensure that they were working toward and achieving the same goals which resulted in the organization achieving JCAHO (Joint Commission on Accredited Health Care Organizations) accreditation for the first time and maintaining that accreditation. Participated in the successful development of a strong and effective committee structure with the overriding mission of achieving measurable performance improvement throughout the organization. Led the Clinical Standards Committee as chair and served as an active participant of the Management, Administration, Health Care Management, and Performance Improvement Committees.
